ok im sure this has come up many of times and if everyone is annoyed by it im sorry this kind of stuff gives me headaches i think about it so much. i cant choose between either making the car look better or making it more powerful.. for instance i want to buy wheels the 2010 gt500 machined and black, my girl friend said she would buy 2 of them so id be buying 2 which like 300.. or buy a lowering kit (which will look bada$$ with wheels) and a short throw which around the same price a little more expensive like 360 or so.. or not spend it on any of that and get cams.. lol its driving me nuts cause i want all of it but it will be a long time before having it all. im going nuts i need inputs

 

Id say it depends on your current rims, ive youve got the 17" or 18" bullitts that come stock then just lower it first and it will still look good until you get new rims and it allows you to save for other mods. But if you have some of the not so attractive rims such as the v6 ones (no offense to anyone) then id go with new rims.

Im pretty much in the same situation, ive barely broken the ice on mods i wish i could be doing but it takes time when your funding is limited.

 

I can tell you from past experience that its all up to you. I just recently bought a supercharger last week but I bought rims a few months ago, so once I install the supercharger that will tell me which mod I liked better. I asked a bunch of people and they said do the supercharger first, but I dropped the money on rims first instead. Now I do get compliments everywhere I go on how sick the car looks especially the rims, but is it better than the kick into the seat feeling of more horse power?

This is just my info. on what I went through. It basically depends on whether you want to go fast, or look good. I mean if you get a nice rim and tire setup with good tires it will handle better and launch better so once you have the horsepower mods the car will still launch good.

yeeaaa well i want a hot performing trophy lol.. so it matches my girlfriend lol.. i have exhaust intake and bama tune programmer the next performance mod id do is cams and LTs.. the short shifter i dont count as performance to much as for the shifters in the cars arent that long and loose.. and yes she is going to buy the 2 front wheels lol cause those are the cheaper ones.. and if i get the wheels ill most likely lower it at the same time.. i have polished 18x9 bullits on it now
