And here I thought this thread "need to get this bitch light" was going to be about installing an LED on the passenger side vanity mirror for your girlfriend.

Hi, I spent a grand on buying a heavier hood and now I want to lighten it (spelled "light").

You should lose the hood all together. Then take off every quarter panel and both bumper covers. Better yet, lose the bumpers completely. Those doors are useless too, might as well get rid of them while you're at it. Enjoy your lightweight mustang!

In all seriousness, there ARE many ways to lighten the Stang, depending on how extreme you want to be. Aluminum DS, lighter wheels, rear seat delete, AC compressor delete, mini-battery, structural and suspension components. It's been done and documented.

Cutting weight off the car is a legitimate issue to some of us.
a "TROLL" is a relatively new term. It has been around for only a few years now really but rapidly growing in usage.

A "Troll" is someone who tries to **** off people, frustrate people, annoy people, on purpose. It is there goal and intentions to make people unhappy and or confused.

you will also here the term "Trolling" as well as "Fail Troll" like i used because i noticed what he was doing from the get go

Yeah the type of wheels that WEIGH LESS!

Every site that sells wheels lists their weight.
This should be a no-brainer which means it's right down your alley!

I dunno about wheels but if you eat at subway for lunch everyday, by the 3rd week you should have lost about 3-5 pounds!! (source: Jared)

By the dangerously complex laws of mathematics it would seem that you would have lost about 50lbs within one single year! =O

Or just sell the car. That's 3500 pounds less.

I'm assuming you paid for your 5.0 in kuwaiti gold? I doubt they'll reimburse in that currency...

At that rate of wishful thinking, you shouldn't have much trouble imagining your car down into negative weight. If you were closer, I'd give you a couple of old engine blocks to keep whatever you have left from floating away.

Please post your progress for our (humorous) benefit.

OP, why do you want to lighten your car anyway? Performance mods cost too much?
