I got a 2010 GT, with a whopping 33k miles on it for 22 grand. What's everyones opinion on that? I know the guy so I don't think there is anything wrong with it, he just wants to sell it to get a family vehicle. It blue books at 29k, and he has literally just about every mod you can do already done to it.

Since the 11's and 12's are already out, the 10's have been going for about that and in quite a few cases, less. Although there are a few that have bragged about how they bought a '10 vert for a "great price" at $30-some-k so, compared to them, you got a killer deal...

If you know what you're doing, you can walk out the door with a lightly loaded '11 or '12 for just over $30k.

So, what are all the mods the previous owner did?

JLT cold air intake with bama tune, off road x-pipes, SLP loud mouth exhaust, 19'' black with chrome lip rims, headers. I think that's it. He's on a TDY for military savvy people basically little paid travel opportunity for this week. I just couldn't believe him wanting to sell it for so cheap.

KBB quoted stock at about 29k, so i was shocked.

Well if you didn't really want to mod it yourself, but did want the modifications in there, then you got a good deal. If you wouldn't have wanted the modifications anyway, then I'd say you got a bad deal. To be honest it's not good to look back though after the fact, it'll can just end up biting you.

A number of people are getting either nearly unused, or new 2010s for around that price. Albeit usually base GTs rather than premiums but still.

Is yours a prem?

EDIT: saw your post about mods.

I would say overall you didn't do too bad. The exhaust work and tune add up to near a couple grand, wheels if you like them can be pricey so that would be a bunch. Overall I wouldn't be too upset with the deal. After all its mostly about you, if you love the car so far and like all of the work done to it, then smile and enjoy it

sell it and buy mine for 27k and go fast haha then again i might be slightly bias... seems like a fairly decent deal personally i hate the new body so a 2010+ is out of the question in my books

LOL, well I am pretty happy with it. It's the premium. I haven't talked to him too much to ask if it has the track package etc. I know it has the moon roof which, correct me if im wrong, was only offered on the premium.

No new Mustang comes with a moon roof.
Does it have the glass roof? That's the only factory option.
I would be a little leary of an aftermarket moon roof, just because of leaking and rattling.

The glass roof is a sexy option.
Doesn't sound like a bad price to me, but I'm sure you could find a better deal if you wanted to look.
