My dealer here in South Ga knows nothing about Kona Blue going away. Has anybody seen this in writing anywhere?

And as already been posted, please get pics up as soon as possible, after getting it.
Actually the first time I knew about it was when I Googled 2012 Mustang GT and there were several references about this. But then my contact who is the fleet manager also confirmed it. But you're right about the build and price page on Ford's website, they still have Kona Blue as one of the available colors. I couldn't even find any blurbs on the website about the replacement colors coming up.

No problem, I'll definitely post up some pics once I get it home. Mostly I just can't wait until I get it!

Just Google 2012 Mustang GT Sonic Blue and there's a whole lot of stuff that comes up about it.

Ok now, there's a new twist when it comes to Sonic Blue. Today my contact told me, from what his Ford rep told him, that Sonic Blue is no longer scheduled for the Mustang but Kona Blue is coming back. Now don't take me as the official word about this switch-a-roo, I'm just telling what he told me. So I get my car in the original color I wanted, even though it would have looked pretty cool in Sonic Blue. At least now I won't have to wait any longer since my contact will now get my order scheduled in possibly this week.

I'll still post up some pics once I get the car home.

Dang, I was hoping to have a semi-rare Kona Blue '12 Mustang.

Man. I wish I could've seen what sonic would look like on the new body style. But if you were wanting Kona in the first place then that's awesome win win.

Thanks. No kidding that it's a win/win if my only disappointment was that I couldn't get a certain color blue on my new ride.

Yeah, I don't know where everyone keeps getting this "no kona blue in 2012" stuff from. I have one. Hawkeye apparently has one. At the very least it is still currently available, maybe next year it won't be.

It wasn't that Kona was completely unavailable, it was that due to the whole Japan situation I think, that Kona was on the chopping block because of dye shortages or something. So it was going to be a half year production color to be replaced by sonic in the second half
