Not me. I used Collinite #845 wax about a month ago.
Numerous people have told me it lasts for 4-5 mo.

I'm REALLY hoping it does.
I have YET to find a wax that lasts as long as they advertise.
And all the store bought ones seem about the same to me.

That's what I polished my GT500 with about 4-5 months ago. One reason I picked it is, it's OK for paint, vinyl, plastic or glass. I don't use it on all that but I don't have to worry about protecting the vinly stripes. It does NOT require hazing, rub it in and wipe it off. I followed up with the Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze, which does have to dry before removing and is only for painted surfaces. Washed the car Sunday afternoon and still beading water like I just put it on. Only had the car about 9 months and that's the only thing I've used so I don't have anything to compare to.

I'll have to try them both out then. I really like the "wet" look of my car. Dont know how to describe it. Anyone know of any products that are best for black cars?

I've used it. It is a great paint cleaner. The sealant is not very durable. No way you will get 6 months protection unless the car is a garage queen.

You can top it with a wax if you like. It's great for water spots and such but has zero corrective abilities (there are no abrasives in it).

I primarily use it on chrome pieces and door jambs.

So if you have to put a wax over this anyway, whats the benefit of it? Thanks

Benefit = time savings. All AOI products are a compromise.

Help me out, I'm still a noob to exterior car care. I all do right now is wash it then dry it. This product would be applied after that step and would do what for me if I didn't apply a wax to it afterwards?

Detailing is a hobby of mine. My favorite "wax" is Blackfire Wet Diamond All Paint Protection. It's a synthetic sealant that you apply like a traditional liquid wax. It gives the paint a shiny wet look and lasts for months. It's also easy to apply. It costs about $30 online. You don't want to apply synthetic sealant on top of carnauba wax. If you decide to switch to this product I would 1) wash 2) clay 3) Blackfire. Between steps 2 and 3 you can polish and glaze if needed.

The best part is every time I wash my car it looks freshly waxed.
