Default 07 Interior trunk release

I find it kinda annoying that there's no interior trunk release button in the '07s, so I'd like to install one. Does anyone have some advice on how to do this, or know of an aftermarket kit I could install?

Thanks!

I believe AM seels a kit but there's a published mod to do it on your own. It's very inexpensive since I believe all there is to is are wires, a switch and your splice material. I'll try to find the link and post it.

I got the American Muscle kit from my son for Christmas in '09 that installs in the glove box. Easy to do... works well. I would like it better if it was in a more accessible place but since I occasionaly leave the top down in a parking lot if I'm only going to be a few minutes, I like that it's not visible from the outside.

Yea get that kit it is very simple to install, down load and print the color pictures and follow the instruction, it works really well, you are right Ford should have installed thin on there cars, my old 1986 5.0 had it so i dont know why thay discontinued the easy access button

Yea, I wish it had a nuke icon on it to make users think twice
about pressing it.

You wouldn't want my ugly puss on your trunk release button.

And I'm partial to the "Ejection Seat" icon.
