So wtf just cause my order wasnt $1500 it should be pushed to the side. I hear a ton of great things about JDM and love how nice and helpful they are but damn they take long. I have an appt. for a dyno tune on sept. 15 that I had to make last month.
Wow I feel your pain Grabber....LOL. Like they say, good things come to those who wait. I like my M90 so much I will probably never get rid of the car, LOVE it!

Vader, I see you have both a roush and a vortech. Which do you like better?

Yeah man I guess your right about waiting. My father keeps telling me not to rush them cause they may rush it to get it done so I stop calling and end up messing something up with the tune which will in return mess up my motor or something. I just want to hear this thing start up and make sure everythings working properly more than anything. I can wait a few days to drive it but the wait of knowing if everythings on right is killing me.

and nice point roush05 I wanna hear the review =D

Wow, that's like asking a dad to choose between sons.....LOL. Let me start by stating this is my opinion...That's my disclaimer...LOL.

Answer: The Roush.

Why: They really are two totally types of blowers, but for my style of driving, the roots style blower is more fun. I do 99% street driving with the annual trip to the track. So on the streets a roots style blower comes on sooner & just (to me) makes it a more enjoyable driving experience. I also love the sound of the whine.

I had my fox first & back then centifugal S/C were more popular, came better packaged together, & offered an easier install. I've also heard that centri's are very efficient & off course put way less stress on a motor since most of the driving the boost is very low. The ironic thing is that the fox is way faster than the 08 (it's built, cammed, etc...) yet the 08 "feels" very fast with the instant boost, so it's funner to drive everyday (to me).

Again just my .02, I hope it helps.

Hey Grabber, glad to see you are finally putting that puppy in there. As for the tune, I've given up on the major shops. They are taking in more business than they are capable of meeting the demand for.

I suggest you give Blow By Racing (BBR) a call. They fixed my issue that Brenspeed couldn't figure out, and it only took them 3 hours. Or give Justin over at VMP a call. He has alot of experience with the Roush on the 5.4 and 4.6 and the upgraded pulleys.

I wish you luck on the JDM endeavor, but at this point I would be reaching out to other tuners who are just as capable

edit: btw, if you have more than 1 tune, you can see which one you like more. it's amazing how much difference you will see between 2 tuners in terms of driveability...not to mention HP and TQ

Well I have the tune installed and just drove it for a little, and it feels kind of weird. I mean my exhaust is load but I dont really hear the blower. I didnt do any wot runs yet since I want to get it dynoed, but I didnt put it in neutral and rev to 4k and it sounded fine but no blower whine maybe cause of my exhaust. It might just be in my head and I could be paranoid, but I just expected a little more when I gave it 1/2 throttle. We'll see once I have it checked on the dyno.
