Default burnout question

is it bad if you hit the rev limiter while you are doing a burnout in 1st gear? my friend does it all the time in his car, is there anyway this can damage the engine/tranny?

If he's doing burn outs all the time, hitting limiter a lot. NO worries. Car will soon be toast.

Na, thats what it's there for. Watch out for missing a gear or something and overrevving that thing though. That will toast the engine and tranny. Of course we all know that constant abuse will screw your car up, but now and then shouldn't hurt it.
