Tuning for Altitude
Hey guys-
In my infinite paranoia about my baby ive gotten to another concern
I want to get a CAI + Tune (Heard from ford tech ppl that the FRPP CAI should fit under the cervinis type IV) But I live at 2 drastically different elevations. I spend equal amounts of time in San Diego (Sea Level) and Denver (Mile Above Sea Level)... will Bama tunes account for the elevation change and possibly send me 2 sets of tunes... IE one for use at sea level and another for use in high altitude environments... I regularly make runs over trail ridge road, peak elevation 12183 feet above sea level. Beautifull drive BTW if youre ever in the colorado area in summertime, but Im scared the low air pressure might cause all kinds of hell with the A/F ratio and heaven knows I dont want to blow the motor

The car will adjust the fuel injected accordingly with the O2 sensor readings...the less O2...the less fuel added and of course less power...you have no worries...the worst that can happen is the car will run rich at the highest altitudes...
