Default I need something time consuming...

To do with my car..

I've got quite a bit of spare time (and not too much money)..so I want to work on my car.

I've looked through over 150 pages on the forums here for stuff,
and haven't really found anything that sparks my interest..
I need to strip/repaint my door panels..but will have to wait until I have the funds (end of this week).

Any suggestions?
I'm open for anything.

Might I suggest Xbox? Just wait for things to get in line for the work ahead or you could even prep for what you need to do prior to purchases needed for the fix.

Drive to my house, take my driver's side door apart and clean out the left-over syrup in there from the dude at a drive-thru about a year back spilling a coke in the window crevice. Still leaves a streak for about 3 inches from mirror to the back on the window...Damn joo Burger King!

Oh, YOUR's...clean TB? Clean grounds and battery/alternator contact, putting thermal grease over 'em when done? Clean out the front area where the cabin filter is that often causes the TSB leak often spoke of?

If nothing else...Wax on, wax off Daniel-san.

Something time consuming? Not much money? Open for anything? How about tear down the entire car and see if you could put it back together? lol

I would very thoroughly detail every single inch of the car. But then, I do that anyways, lol.

There are sure to be unused parts and bolts that were once very important!!!
LOL

Dent or no dent detail the heck out of that Stang, engine bay, interior the whole deal. Getting prepped for car shows I can easily spend 4-6 hours detailing.

Surf ****. Then, when your eyes get tired, go look at your car. Who needs Viagra?

HAHA! I know the feeling when you want to do something with the car but just don't have the money for a cool mod. Here's some cheap stuff you could do:
Paint your grille pony... black, red.. whatever
Paint your door sills like you were talking about
You could pick up some clips for the plastic trim in your trunk that is missing
Pine tree air fresheners? experiment with different scents..
You could paint the GT-takeoff that I gave you black-- so then you wouldn't see any of that ugly, unfinished grey.

OR.. when I need to fulfill my "car fix", I go to a car show. Check out the Flashback's show every Wednesday on 84th & Center.. (behind Mangelsen's, next to the old Cinema Center.) Very cool cars there! Saw a Ford GT last week!
