Gittin rid of my 07 stang
Im getting rid of my 07 stang to prepare to buy my wife and I's home. I love mustangs and have two classics(67 and 68). I dont really know what to get now. Im thinking a ranger or a 4runner, something with 4wd. Any thaughts. I hate the thaught of getting rid of my girl.

I've always been a fan of Rangers, Had one before my 1st mustang that i had 31" super swampers on that was a fun truck, otherwise if it isn't about money i'd love to get a new F150 Raptor those things are sick

Oh no! The mustang will be sorely missed, but if you are looking at more "practical" cars I would suggest maybe a highlander? Mom had one for some time, and they are bulletproof engine and drivetrain wise. Great interiors too, however the 4runners (older ones) always left something to be desired with ride quality IMO.
Do you need a truck for work? Why not consider some AWD cars? Just throwing some ideas out there...

Sorry, but if I were to get a different ride than my GT and it had to be AWD.. it would have to be the new 2012 Dodge Charger 5.7 Hemi AWD... not the fastest kid on the block, but enough low end torque to keep me happy
Unless of course you're willing to dish out $95k+ for a new Nissan Skyline and completely crush the competition lol

Sorry to hear about getting rid of the Stang. As far as 4x4's go, I'm on my 3rd 4Runner and 6th Toyota overall. 4Runner #1 ('90 2nd gen) was sold to a friend with 205,000 miles in good condition and he has since put another 150,000 miles on it. 4Runner #2 ('00 3rd gen) was sold to a guy at a previous work location with 152,000 miles in mint condition. 4Runner #3 ('08 4th gen) has almost 50,000 miles. All 3 did some medium to heavy duty towing and NONE ever had any shop time for anything beyond normal and preventive maintenance. I know that Ford has come a long way over the years, but I still don't see 1/3 the # of TSB's on my T4R like I do on my Stang. And my current '08 T4R hasn't been to the shop since the day I bought it.

Another plug for the T4R (and much ANY SUV) is that, with the house soon come kids. My T4R's handled 2 boys, the bitch.... I mean "wife"... plus a large dog on many trips hauling the camper. Now, it's the g/f and our 2 dogs plus the bass boat.
