Was that private party or at a dealer?

Private party. My daughter was turning 16 and taking my sport trac. I spent months cruising the net. Found it local on craigs list. Total cream puff.

Its a very clean looking car, but try to talk them down.
Like other members said get a carfax for sure, I didn't on mine and I regret it slightly.
As for the louvers, I would not worry about if they are OEM, usually the aftermarket louvers look better anyway.

Thanks again for the input fellas.

I'll try to talk them down when I go see it.

It seems a lot of places are pricing their GTs high for the impulse buyer/intent shoppers then will work with you if you call. For example I called about a beautiful black gt with 65k miles priced at 20k. In a text reply as this is how we were communicating(I was working) I said we can't get close enough on price to even waste anymore time. He asked what I was thinking and I shot back that I had seen many similarly equipped cars at around $15k to which he replied. Would you buy it at $15k. I think another k could be haggled off.

Let us know how it went. Car looks very clean...I am puzzled by the rocker stripes...normally you see those on V6. Must have been an aftermarket, dealer or customer add on.

The window sticker is only available on models less than five model years old, so 2006 wouldn't come up. The following link provides basic information: VIN Decoder.

These mod motors run forever if you take care of them, i think 150 to 200 thousand miles is more than reasonable
