Starting down the road of a stupid argument in here.

I don't know why people think nobody likes the rear of the new models, a lot of us do. I still get plenty of staring and pointing and comments on how good my car looks so lets not make it an all or nothing argument situation. People's opinions on the tail lights are just that, opinions, and there is no cold hard fact about taste over the new back end.

So lets stop all this bitching and get back to sane discussion

I love the new rear end compared to the 09/10 ones. The older looks very bulky and doesnt flow, but the 10+ flows very nice.

Expect fixing the tail lights would require a redesign of the aft section of the fender as well as the bumper. Not a minor change.

Sounds like a really positive move for Ford to me.

< There is your preference and your bias. And my reply was to all of your response that were attempts to start a flame war. Like I said enjoy your car and accept that most do not like the rear. Now I will go back to ignoring your posts like everyone else.





This looks like good news. Although in some ways I almost dont want them to come out with another style that I love(love more than the 05-09).. My wallet wouldnt like it very much.

I personally like the triangular shape of the rear lights on the 10-12. Just my opinion because I like the 80's Countach Lamborghini tail looks. I do not like how they are angled forward. If the were triangular and flat, that would be bad ***.

Just my opinion and preference. Some like the rear end but there are also a significant amount of ppl who do not. So significant that Ford is doing as this thread is speculating: considering redesigning the rear end.

this is my first mustang and is the only year I really ever liked the looks of them top to bottom. I am not a die hard mustang fan and have never been into them before..the 10+ body is what made me like them to finally buy one.
