Default Billet Grille Question

Those that have purchased the billed grilles with no pony cut out... meaning you have to cut out the original grilles pony, can you see that hole through the new grille? Is it noticeable?

Can't you just pop the pony off?
Is this for a GT or V6?

you do need to take it off as you can see it.its just 2 or 3 clips(cant remember)but be careful they break really really easily.oh yeah easier to take the grill out to do it too.

I recently installed a pony delete billet grill for my 06. For it to fit correctly the pony has to come off and in my experience the part of the grill that holds the pony needs shaved down. I figure at some point I'll cut out the honeycomb that isn't essential to holding the billet.

As far as seeing it through the grill you have to be in the right angle to see the original grill.

I installed the pony delete billet grill from American Muscle and cut the pins holding the pony to the original grill and like lunyou said, I had to shave down the grill where the pony was. I used an angle die grinder with a sanding disk to shave the grill down. If you look during the day when the sun is shining on the front of the car you can berely see where it was.
