Yes!! The 3M protects very well against rocks. The highway I drive everyday is covered in stupid pebbles and rocks due to all the oilfield trucks and since I got the 3M installed after having to repaint my front bumper and hood I have no more damage. It is expensive to get the good film but IMO well worth it.

I am not sure which kit mine is, it was bought and installed by the body shop I use. It was approx. $400 for the whole front end, bumper, lower chin, hood and fenders.

The 3M clear bra would be the only bra I'd ever put on my car. Aside from that, a bra is more trouble than its worth and I don't even think they look good.

I'm regretting not putting a 3M bra on mine right now, already have a hand full of chips from highway driving and it'll only get worse over time. My mentality though is that one day I'll buy myself a new hood because the chips are all adding up, and it would be sweet to find a new badass hood

Nope, I had mine for about 2 years before I got in an accident and now I have all new 3M after all the repairs. You can see the line where the tint is on the hood but I didn't find mine was discoloring at all. One guy at work has a bit of yellow on his 3M on his 350Z right along the seam of the tape but his is 8 years old now.

Films typically do not yellow these days if properly maintained. A good sealant will keep it looking nice. I have been installing these for a long time but for some reason it seems the Mustang crowd has not really gotten into it.
