Dont know about anyone else, but I wish they would have cars on the show that you see driving around town or happen to see on an open drag nite at the track... Over seeing all the bracket cars or these trailer queens... I wanna see some real world races!!!! Daily Drivers ....M3's, GT500's.... Corvettes, Camaros.... GT's.. EVO's.... etc.... I can watch NHRA if i wanna see these built non-daily drivers... Pass Time is about to Jump the Shark!!

 

do you mean pinks or pass time. Pass time they don't race each other, so there would be no versus race. They did have one though that claimed to be the "Arizona Street Cars," but they all were no higher than 10.5s and one was even in the mid 9s. I personally like the show a lot, you get a wide variety of vehicles, with the last usually being the quickest. I think the only problem with having just stock cars is that not too many people want to watch that or the lack of contestants with just stock vehicles.

I agree, but the one thing I have noticed with the speed channel is the type of vehicle and times for runs. Every time I watch Pinks everyone knows that the 10 sec class is going to be picked, I almost feel like they should tell people that don't have 10 sec rides not to bother and save them the "hassle," it is always fun to go down the strip though.

 

Pinks got old REALLY fast for me.
Soon the vehicles and races were not the most interesting thing on the show.
Watching people when they REALLY argue became the entertainment and lost it's luster just as fast as those 8 second cars.

 

couldnt agree more... PINKS went south fast.... should start a show called DAILY DRIVER.. and it follows a few people and shows their lives and how into their cars they are.. gets you a kinda inside look into how their car affects their lives.. then at the end of the show they each get a couple of passes and we all get to see them run.. you can text in your time up until they run and someone who watches and texts the closest time wins something or whatever.... just a rough idea ...something awesome could be made of this idea with a few tweaks.... i have a few ideas about car shows that would be pretty kewl... but who am I, and who would listen!! pipe dreams man, pipe dreams... hahahaha

 

Now I would watch that!
But I would also want them to make sure to include the mods they had done in some detail.

 

totally.. something that got you an intimate look at the car and driver... how much work and sacrafice it takes to get there...

 

Would have to throw in SOMETHING for each one to possibly loose so something would be on the line. That or some sort of awesome prize for the winner.
