hi, i have a 2010 mustang gt and im looking into getting a full exhaust system but dont know what brands are good, i want to go with the best so any help would be very nice and appreciated. i want long tube headers and x pipe and catback mufflers. the only thing i have in mind so far is the borla atak mufflers. thanks for any suggestions!

 

I am thinking about selling my longtubes. Would you be interested? Pypes longtubes, offroad x pipe and 2 brand new 02 extensions.

Brad, you need to watch sound clips on youtube for exhaust combos. Using headphones gives a more realistic tone too. Longtubes really change the tone. After cams and LTs I had to quiet mine down it was so stupid loud. Its still loud now just not retarded loud. X pipe is very raspy, you might want to go with a H pipe with those LTs.

 

There is absolutely nothing wrong with them, I am just removing them cause I need to pass inspection and aftermarket cats dont mix well with blowers so I am going to buy a throttle body instead. Not sure what you mean by what brand tips though. Its only the headers and the x pipe. I will sell the borla mufflers too, but I would need about a week so I can purchase and install new mufflers before I shipped. I have the Borla S-Type on my GT and it has a nice sound. There are some sound clips on youtube of other GTs with the Borla system.
