Default Popping sound in dash

When I cut my 2010 stang on there is a popping sound that pops about 6 times and then stops everytime I cut the vehicle on now. Everything is still working properly, as far as I know. I'm going to get to dealer to look at soon. Just wondering if any similar issues you guys have encountered?
Thanks!

I know exactly what it is - it's part of your air conditioning system. It's a "blending valve" that is clicking. This is a known problem with Mustangs. Dealership should fix you up under warranty.

I have the same clicking in my 2010. I thought it was the 6Disc CD Changer. I just listened to it and it does sound like it is the A/C.
Have to take it in.

Go ahead and take it in, it gets annoying. I took mine in last week for that same problem and they ordered the part for me. I'm actually about to head over there right now to get it fixed up and have the oil changed while I'm at it.

Hi juicedup20,

You are definitely on the right path of taking it to your dealer, along with anyone else with this concern. Be assured, they are in the best position to resolve it for you. Please keep me updated on their diagnosis, and let me know if I can assist. Have a great evening!

Is this a TSB on the 2010/11?

Hi 2cokeman,

As TSBs are symptom & VIN-specific, your dealer will be best able to let you know of any applicable TSBs for your Mustang. Have a good day!

I hear this as one pop (sometimes) right after startup on hot days. Since it's done it from day one and hasn't gotten worse, I just ignore it.

Hey CincyGT2009,

If it is only under extreme temperatures, that may not be anything that needs attention. If it increases, though, then mention it to your dealer at the next service appointment so they can take a look. Have a good one!
