I agree with above poster,
although if you must have, I believe Ebay CAI's don't require tunes. The cheap 60 dollar ones. They're also available at automotive stores.
Also I think the Airaid CAI's dont require tunes.

But a CAI that doesn't require a tune will give you gains of probably 3-5hp give or take? Completely worthless.

If you're gonna get a CAI without a tune. Don't spend your money. Go to autozone and get a Spectre kit. Like they said above, a CAI without a tune = waste of money. I sure wouldn't spend $250+ for 3-5 HP.

Intake without tune = shiney conversation piece

Would be better to buy a tuner and keep the stock intake

My wife's comment about no tune required CAI:

"so they are paying that much to simply 'look pretty' compared to stock?"

I think K&N doest it with out tune but there is no real point because the main power gets unleashed because of new tune.

I have an Airaid CAI, which does NOT require a tune and the performance gain is minimal, maybe (5 - 7) HP. The custom tune is what adds the most performance gain. If you can only afford one or the other, go for the hand held tuner and 3 custom tunes from AM or Brenspeed. I heard the airflow on the stock airbox has improved a lot from the (05 - 09) models. However, if you have the cash, go for the tune/CAI combo!
