Default meth injection or intercooler?

I was looking at intercoolers and my buddy suggested meth injection. its way cheaper too. What could go wrong, what do you guys suggest. would meth be too much for the car or pros and cons for meth? or should I go intercooler?

I would go with an intercooler just cause with the meth you have to constantly keep track of the level of the tank. It gives you a nice power gain because of the ability to add timing but too much maintenance IMO, if you are driving DD. And when you say cheaper are you talking about for just the kit? Because pretty much when it is all said and done after a re-tune, ect. you will be at or near intercooler setup price.

I saw the kit on snow performance for 600.00. This car is my daily driver, If they are about the same price when all is said n done then I will go with intercooler for sure. the intercooler I was looking at is 1500 but I will install the intercooler.

Which intercooler setup are you looking at?

you could get an air to air IC and fabricate the piping. that would be very cheap if you dont mind doing the fabbing.
if not a IC kit would be the route i would take.

i dont really know too much about the meth kits to give you an accurate opinion.

I would say get the intercooler. But if you are willing, you can go meth, just make sure that you have two tunes: one for the meth and the other for without so if you run out of meth, you can switch tunes to retard the timing to a safe level.

But if you are crazy, go intercooler and meth injection, and advance away. Just dont foget to go back to you 'tarded tune when you run out of meth.

Well I think I will just go with the ic, then possibly meth. I really don't wanna worry about two tunes lol. The kits just said stage 3 mustang it's on snowperformance.com

If you were thinking all you do is install it and thats all there is to it, no way. There is a lot more to it! I have an intercooler and plan on going water/meth + the intercooler!

air to air or air/water? Because air/water is more consistent than air to air, you may not even need to go meth. Or you could go with a larger heat exchanger with the air/water intercooler and really keep things cool! The only thing you don't get is the 100+ octane rating the meth puts out(generalizing the term lol) which helps tune for a lot more power...

just keep in mind that all that stuff adds weight!
