Default Finally got another stang on Friday.

Well after searching for about a month and looking at tons of Mustangs to replace mine I found one I like with super low miles.

I'm getting a blue with silver stripes 2008 GT Premium, with IUP and black leather seats. It also has roush side louvers, cds chin spoiler, and axle back exhaust.

The best part only 2,500 miles. I have to spend a little more but figure its worth it with the super low miles. Now to start ordering parts and modding it like I had my 07 GT.

I'll post pics when I get it on Friday.

Congrats.... I loved it when I found mine with only 5,800 miles... She still smelled new inside when she came off the delivery truck...

Just got my 08 Mustang GT Premium today. Blue with Silver stripe and only 2,500 miles. Also has Roush Side Window Louver, Hurst Shifter, Ford Racing Axle-back exhaust, tint, CDC chin spoiler, front Silver grille inserts.

The price was at the top of my price range but well worth it for basically getting a brand new car. Now just have to wait till Monday to register it and get a plate and the title switched to my name.

I noticed with the Hurst shifter that the metal handle gets really hot, even while driving at night. Is this normal? I didn't have this problem with my MGW in my 07 GT.

pop the leather boot off and make sure the rubber dust boot is on there. when i did my steeda i said i dont need this. ummmmm, i could make coffee in my drink holders with the windows down. windows up no porblem. i guess the preasure change from having the windows open sucked hot exhaust air up through the center councle. i just taped it up all around with alluminum tape and its fine. thats what i would check if it were me.

Normal with the Hurst...
The handle gets hot because of the direct connection to the unit itself, the MGW is more intricate in that regard.
Direct connection is also why they're prone to rattle if you use the cheap hardware that come with the kit...
Using copper washers instead of the useless ones provided, allow the vibrations to dissipate rather than amplify through the handle.

Note: The OEM will get the same heat but you never get feel it because the boot prevents you from touching the handle.

Congrats on the car and better luck with this one, hopefully.
