Disconnect the battery and let it sit for 30 minutes.

Disconnect it again, but take both leads OFF the battery and touch them together for 30 seconds or so. IIRC this should drain anything left in the system and reset the computer. Can anybody else chime in?

When a code is thrown, exactly what code lights up? The problem might be a considerable one, such that simply resetting it does not fix it. Even when cars were running on carbs and there were no such thing as engine computers, if something wrong was bad enough, the car would limp along until it was properly fixed.

Ignoring the DTC/MIL is like turning the radio louder just so you dont have to hear the transmission gear whir just before that gear finally strips all of its teeth.

If the code did not go away after disconnecting the battery 30 minutes, the problem is still there.
You can usually also clear the codes from your reader.
If the code wont go away, it's probably real.

You left something else disconnected, throttle body wires, fuel rail pressure sensor, etc.
The specific dtc will tell you where to look as well.

Codes 2104 and 2112, the're both about throttle body. Will investigate further today.

Time to start checking your connections and making sure everything is not just plugged in, but also where it should be.
