Default SCT II tuner ?

How do I tune my new mustang with my old tuner? Can I just hook it up? Cause I want to readd my CAI and tune to my new GT. Thanks

Only if your old X2 is unlocked. If it's locked, won't work.

If it's unlocked, load the tune on the X2 and plug it into the OBII port under the dash and follow prompts on screen.

Power it on, should be under Device Info if I recall correctly for an X2. Hit select and should have 3 status available.

Status = Stock, means it's half locked but fixable. Check www.sctflash.com tech page to see how to unlock it

Status = Aftermarket = locked and wont work

Status = Unused = unlocked, go tune

Ok thanks. Unfortunately for me its locked in Aftermarket. Guess I can either spend $150 to get it unlocked by SCT, plus cost of new tunes.
Buy a new X3 for $399, Or X3 and C&L for $625 what I originally paid.

I wouldn't bother with SCT's canned tunes. Contact AM and see what they can do for you.

I'm not, but I have to get my tuner unlocked in order to add tunes for my new car. Probably gonna go with evolution performance- my original tuner.
