Default Forget GT mufflers!!!

Here's a cheap mod for those of you who want a louder tone, but don't want to spend a lot on mufflers.

I'm getting my dual put on Friday,
but before hand I had to get my custom "muffler-delete" pipes bent and ready for it.
I took the car into a shop, and 30 minutes later walked out with a pipe that replaces the muffler. 40 bucks for it. 15 bucks for a tip.
Got home, mounted it up (use clamps and hangers from Advanced Auto Parts), and bam. 30 minutes later I have a custom muffler-delete.

I ran around without the muffler for awhile, and man..that thing hurt my ears. Stuff inside the car would vibrate, and just...ew.

But with the muffler delete on...in the car it sounds like I still have my GT muffler on. It's nice and quiet. A bit loud at times..but nowhere near as loud as no muffler dumping straight out.
But outside the car, it's MUCH louder.. I love it.

I would reccommend this to anyone, over a GT muffler, or SLP Loudmouths, etc.

Now here's the real question.
Help me out here..
now that I have it on there, it's no where near as loud as I thought.

When I convert to duals, (Say I just have straight pipes all the way though, including cats) will it be louder than the stock y?

And the other question.
If it's not even that loud, would it be worth it to put my SLP Shotgun Resonators in? Or should I just go without them and have straight pipes..(or hollow out my cats and have the shotguns on there?).

I need help on this,
getting it all put on friday..

Duals will be louder... you have sound/air going through two pipes for one thing lol.

I would actually just stay the way you are, not do anything to it,
and save that money until you go dual.

I already have everything to do it.

Tips & Resonators & GT H-Pipe & tailpipe all sitting in the garage.
So I just need to know if I should do the resonators or not.

resonators could clear up some of the
junk noise that muffler deletes bring with them.

I'd slap them on.
