Default Wheel Offset Help

What is the most aggressive, lowest offset, anyone has used on their rear with a 20 x 10 inch wheel. Im going to attempt a 35 offset. Dont think it will be a problem as the current Shelby SuperSnakes are at 36.7 mm offset on a 20 x 10. Any input would help. I know the sweet spot is 40 - 50 mm but .....................

Joe, seeing that the supersnake rims pultrude outside the fenders just a hair with a 37mm offset, I don't have to tell you what's going to happen with a 35mm offset. Just make sure that since your car is as low as it is, you put on a low profile tire that will keep the fender as far away as possible.

At least with the supersnakes, you could run a 275/35/20 to pull the top of the tire back inside the fender, so that if you hit a bad enough bump, or had your suspension collapse enough, it wouldn't hit. With the rim outside the fender, the tire will be too. You can still install a narrow tire, but it'll still be in harms way if you hit a bad enough bump.
