Bad Luck Comes in threes...
Ok..I don't know what I've done to tick off the man upstairs, but he has decided to curse me regarding my cars. First, I hit a skunk a couple of weeks back in the Mustang...some of you may remember that thread. Now today I go out to go to work and lo and behold...Stang has dead battery...grrrr. It is the original battery since Nov 06, so I can't complain that the Motorcrap lasted for almost 5 years. I took my Explorer to work and when I came out to go for lunch guess what....dead battery!!!!!! I was thinking "you have got to be freaking kidding me..who the hell did I **** off!!!" Anyway, got it jumped and just finished putting in a new battery in the rain...fun fun.
So I just needed to vent and figured all of you would enjoy a good laugh at my expense. I'll be getting a new battery for the Stang this weekend. Don't know whether to get another Motorcraft for originality or upgrade to an Interstate or Optima...I'll ponder that for a couple of days while I hope nothing else goes wrong with my cars. Also, the wife said I am to stay the hell away from her Explorer less I curse it......

The topic of batteries, and the fact that yours lasted 6 years, reminded me of something. I work part-time at a local Autozone and about 3 weeks ago I changed a battery for a lady with a Nissan Frontier. It was an 01 with 117k miles on it. It was an original Nissan Battery with a Manufactured Date of 06/00. When I pulled it out I said "holy Shyt!" and the lady was like, " whats wrong". I just told her nothing and that she got her money out of that battery. Anywho, batteries are lasting a pretty long time nowadays. Good luck in the future with your vehicles! Now maybe you can get three years of trouble free driving??????
