I did the same thing last week but THANK GOD it was on a nice smooth curb (hotel entrance), it scuffed it a little but no as bad as I thought. The sound of rim and curb meeting still haunts me. Grrrrrr

You know you can have it fixed..There's a company called alloy wheel repair, If you google it you can get some results and they charge around $100 dollars per wheel..

I looked into that when I freaked out about my very minor curb rash...

But I mean after shipping costs (unless you live near the repair place) will be you know, like $50 give or take. I guess its more beneficial if yours wheels are $300 per, mine were only about $170 per.

Or like already said, just file it down, and yeah a tiny bit of material will be removed but you can't notice it unless you put your eyeball right to it

Or you can decide to live with it and just get a brand new set of rims, of a new style to freshen up your ride, in a couple years.

Most cities have a few rim repair shops. Where I live I have seen one or two just near my campus. And several other people say some performance shops can fix those rims for paltry sums. One of my friends bent a rim from hitting a huge piece of semi-truck tire on the highway. They charged him like $40 to fix it. Good as new for the past 6 or so months, although it was a smaller 16" wheel from an RSX...
