Default Stupid Curb!

I finally did it. Backed into a curb and scuffed my wheel. The scrape is minor and was wondering if anyone had any luck with the home repair kits. My wheel is a Black Ford racing forged aluminum wheel. Any help would be awesome.

S*cks, I did this also. Sand it down (120 grit) - polish it with 2000 grit sand paper(wet) - then paint.

you can edit it MS Paint and "resize" to 50% or whatever... or even crop out the very top and bottom parts (you select ur car, then hit crop at the top)

OP I know how you feel... It was dark, I have tint, and new neighborhood, it was one of those sidewalk corners that have the very sharp tip/angle and I bashed into it with my rear wheel and hopped over the curb. Fortunately no bent wheel! just 1" rash on my black wheels I can paint. Still made me sick for a day or two

Yeah my wheels are pretty scuffed up on the edges, too.

Good thing I don't have any special finish on my wheels - it doesn't show by any means. I was thinking of taking them over to my uncle's shop and heating them with a blowtorch to smooth it out.

If you can't figure out a photo editor, go to imageshack, upload the image there and select the resize option. Then adjust the link in your signature accordingly to the newly uploaded, resized image.
