Default Ordered the OEM HIDs

My understanding from what I read is that it's not a simple swap and plug? You have to rewire the whole electrical harness?? If so what's a rough estimate on how much that would cost me? Should I have the stealership do it or take it to a shop?

I dunno how the OEM HID look like, but for most aftermarket HIDs need to do some wiring and find a place to mount the ballas. I think the OEM one is replacing the entire headlamp housing. You need to figure it out when it arrives. It won't void the "warranty" if you took those to the stealership to put them on.

Good luck.

OEM HID is the way to go if you want HID's. The aftermarket is mostly chinese junk that only lasts a year or two and then turns to crap. Been there, done that. I do believe the OEM comes with the harness you need.

Well I got the package in today and......I receive two LEFT HID headlamps. Major fail. So now I have to wait until after the holidays to receive the right one. Sigh....

No, no harness. It was only the two headlamps. I believe the ones from ford comes with everything you need, but then you'll have to pay like 2 grand for them. I will post pictures as soon as I get home.
