Default LT header/shorty x-pipe question

Hey guys I'm just wondering about getting some LT headers.. And cause I don't have deep pickets ill probably get the pacesetter ones. Are they decent? Or will they just break down easy? I was also think about getting the Mac LTs but my next question is do you have to get the shorty xpipe or hpipe as the headers or can you have different ones?

Get the kooks LT with H pipe then you don't need to worry about anything else..just like Sparta said, you get what you paid for....Kooks sounds super.

better to get matching brand mid pipe with the LT's
that way you know it will fit.
the cheapest ones i would go with would be BBK or Mac
my BBK's were $750 for the headers and midpipe, almost 5 years later and they work great.

but Kooks and ARH are top notch headers, no doubt.

Yea I know that's what I've always said... I was looking at the Mac setup.. I didn't see kooks.. Where did you get them from? American muscle?

Kooks are great but cost a fortune. Pypes are a exact kooks copy. Check out brenspeeds site. They are half the cost of kooks and you can choose an x or H pipe. They fit spot on when I installed them too.

I've been looking around and don't see any setups with catted mid pipes, can you have them catted? Will they pass emissions? Sorry, didn't mean to jump off topic.

Yes you can. I installed Kooks LT's with high flow catted H-pipe a couple months back.

Yea I was looking at pipes also.. And was wondering the same thing I don't know if I wanted a high flow cat mid-pipe or just stick to no cats.. I'm not worried about emissions I live in Florida.. I guess it's just the noise I have an o/r xpipe with m80s and it's loud now I like it.. But I don't want a ridiculous loud a$$ car.. How much louder is it?

I put some mac lt's on mine and it quieted down....But got deeper. Now I've got the prochamber on it instead of the H pipe. Much cleaner sound and a little bit quieter inside too. Where are you here in fl?
