magnaflow will be way too expensive. I got a kit with an X pipe, pypes mid pipes and two gt takeoff mufflers, i love it. its not too loud but you will deffintely enjoy it!

the kit is no longer available so you're better off just finding all those parts. mufflers on ebay possibly. plus since the gt takeoffs are cheap you could always switch them out if you choose for flowmaster or something else

Go to an exhaust shop and have them bend you a pipe from the axle back. Costs like 40 bucks plus install. Cheap, and it sounds mean...a lot better than any of the muffler set ups.

My boomtube was used, $100 shipped. New I think they run $200. ninosport.com. Gt takeoffs are going to be harder to find than a few years ago

Find an axleback that you like, take it to a custom exhaust shop and have them fab you an H or X pipe. Cheapest and best route to take IMO. H pipes are deeper, X pipes are raspier

GT takeoffs are all over, and very cheap. Paid $50 shipped for mine. In my opinion they sound the best too. Majority of aftermarket axlebacks/mufflers sound like a rice burner to me. Be sure to find GT takeoffs from a manual, since they are a tad louder

I've got a single 2010 gt axleback exhaust from a m/t mustang. It fit on my 2007 v6, and sounds great. Gives it the punchy sound it needs. I bought the pair of axlebacks off a 2010 gt owner on craigslist for 10 bucks... steal!
Now I'm kind of an addict, so my next exhaust mod is gonna be the pypes v6 dual exhaust conversion from american muscle.
If you are willing to spend a little under $500 on dual exhaust, get that one, they use them on the v6 mustang project car from American Muscle; Its a 3" X pipe. They sound mean... oh man, I can't wait to get mine!

Heres a link to them on American Muscle: http://www.americanmuscle.com/pypes-...l-catback.html

Heres a vid of them on the project car:

Good Luck!

If you decide to go with the single GT exhaust, check your local Craigslist. You maybe able to find one inexpensively. If not, check the classified here on the forum.
FYI, I've read that the GT exhaust off of a manual are little louder. I am not sure if this is true or not, but wanted to mention it to you.
I have the Pypes Streetpro single exhaust which sounds decent, once it breaks in. The SLP (Street Legal Performance) exhaust sound good on the sixxers as well. Go to youtube and checked out the different sounds to compare.
Good luck!

Here are two GT mufflers on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Mustang...item5891703d33

$39 + shipping which is $40. For $79 you can get your GT muffler and have a second one to use if you ever decide to go with duals.
