Default Just purchased GT500 steering wheel

I purchased the GT500 steering wheel last night from ebay. I saw it everywhere for at least $360 +shipping and I was about to make the move. Decided to check ebay in the last second and found a brand new one listed for $270 with shipping and didn't hesitate. The new steering wheel along with my new Pioneer AVIC-X930BT should completely transform my interior. I'm excited and can't wait til I get this all done!

Thanks, guys. I'm hoping to have everything ready by the weekend or early next week. And I'll put up the pictures as soon as it is all done! Just have to decide if I should go with the Metra dash kit...

I wanna see! I would love to have a GT500 steering wheel, but the cost is the same as some other parts that I want, and the steering wheel always ends up being my "next" mod lol.
How simple it is to swap the wheel and to transfer the airbag?

Yeah, a new steering wheel is a must if you have that ugly base steering wheel lol. I was gonna put off the interior for last in my modding list, but my girlfriend bought me a Pioneer head unit for Christmas, so now I'm doing that part of the interior. It seems pretty easy, there's a thread somewhere in these forums which tells you how to do it, and a lot of them said it takes between 10-20 minutes to swap it.

Will do. I may not have the head unit installed right away though, I read on another section that Metra will be releasing a new dash kit, which looks a lot better, so depending if it'll be a long wait or not, I may get it done soon or a couple weeks tops.

I went online to look at pics of GT500 steering wheels. What kind did you get, meaning, did you get the kind where you can adjust the volume on the stereo and all that other cool stuff, ect???

Yeah, I bought the 2010+ GT500 steering wheel. It's half leather, half suede and comes with the aluminum trim and volume controls, cruise control, etc.
