Sounds like something is "loose" in front end??
There's a sound in the front end whenever I hit any kind of bump that basically sound like there's something loose, it's not smooth. The rear is fine but this noise comes from both driver and passenger side. It has done this since I bought it a month ago. There's only 12K on the car, I've had both wheels off and back on and can't see anything wrong. It has been in the shop for some repair on the driver side suspension but shop said everything is good. Is this common with Mustangs?

There's a TSB for the front end clunk but it would be worthwhile to check the torque on the strut bolts first. Here's a link that should get you to the torque #'s. The clunk is one of many TSB's that seem to affect quite a few S197's.

Wow, I'm glad the TSB page has been updated. It addresses most of my squeaks/creaks!

OP I'd check out TSB 09-24-16 as a starting point for you.
I haven't checked this list out in a while so I thought I would and
TSBs: 08-24-10, 09-24-16, and 08-3-4 look like they may apply to me.
Guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend! Out of warranty
