Default Installed Roush Axle-backs

Installed my new Roush Axle-backs last night. You can't wipe the smile off my face! They sound awesome! I rented a lift on Fort Lee where I'm currently stationed, and took about an hour and a half until i set the car on the ground again.

I will say however that the directions were **** poor. I couldn't make out a single photo and most of the written directions were referencing a photo. So instead i chucked the papers and winged it. Peace of cake, hardest part was removing the stock units.

Anyways i highly recommend these! No drone and they sound absolutely amazing!

Good to know. I bought a Roush Axle Back for my 2012 5.0. I'm done with my deployment in April and can't wait to install mines. Do you have a tune with it? If so, what kind. I got the C&L CAI with SCT Tuner..

Nah I just got the axle-backs. When the thing is no longer under warranty i might do the the cold air and tune but for now just the exhaust. Its the only thing my dealer would warranty.

Thanks and be safe when you go there. Also, let me get this straight, you only have the axle back with no tune and everything is running perfect (no codes, ect). I'm still new to Mustangs and Cars in general, that's why I'm asking. Thanks.

Just to clear it up here, axle-back exhaust of any kind will never need a tune, even if you had open straight pipes back there However I encourage tuning because it makes the car fun as **** to drive!

I have Roush on my 2010GT. I can't quit smiling either.

I heard them on the 2011GT, which is what ultimately swayed me to the Roush. Those were the only ones I heard "live". Everything else was via youtube.

Thanks for that information. Honestlyl, I've been a little nervous about putting my CAI with SCT installed. Mainly because I've read alot of threads of people having issues, but also read some good ones as well. So I'm like jumping back and forth about it. But thanks for axle-back info
