Default Found the one!....I think

Hello all,
I am just very happy.
After some Cars.com searching I have surprisingly found a 2010 Gt with 35000k miles. It is listed at $16,995. I am not going to get ny hopes up, but isn't that an amazing price for that model? Now the dealership is one I have never heard of 30 minutes away from my house but once I called , it seems like the saleman dont carr. I had to tell the guy to call me as soon as it hits the lot. He didnt care formy contact info. I asked him why the low price he said, theyjust come and go . . Thye have theVIN listed, and the sneak peak carfax says it it has 9 reports. Now would a dealership resell a rebuild without really telling the customer? That's what I am presuming it is, but the pics look amazing. I didn't want ro post the site just incase it is a deal, but is thsir anything anyone can tell me? I can give someone the Vin? People are telling me the dealership is legitimate , but idk if I just caught a deal. I am test driving it Tuesday night !

Ty in advance!

I'd definitely have a look at that carfax...I just bought my 08 with that many miles for just under $20k. Granted it wasn't the best deal but it was right before last summer and that's what they were going for in my area at the time.

Carfax doesn't mean anything. Not everything that happens to the car is always put on it.

Carfax doesn't mean anything. The carfax is only updated if there's a police report/title change. There are other more effective ways to look into a vehicles history.

That's right, carfax is only a 50/50. I got into a nasty wreck and my carfax doesn't show any reported damage. Not sure why, insurance company just hasn't gotten around to it yet I suppose.

For minor bumps, fender benders, and small scrapes, are those omitted from the databases that CarFax looks up?
I know CarFax looks at DMV records, police records, and insurance records as far as major events, such as the vehicle was stolen, in a flood or was totaled, or was in a serious wreck even though it was no totaled, had insurances claims on it, etc.

That is a crazy low price, which obviously raises some immediate questions. Maybe it's labeled as a GT but is really a sixer. That would be so disappointing.

At least it's local and you have a test drive scheduled. I'm interested to see what you find out, and you should be able to get an extended warranty as well.
