Default Ferrari vs Shelby

I've been thinking about this alot... If I get a 36 on my act which I'm working on.... My dad said he'd get me a Ferrari 348 ... But at the same time I could get a gt500... So now it comes down to which one? I would probably buy a beater for the winter/bad days

Would you rather have an apple or an orange? Two COMPLETELY different cars. Anyways, I would take the GT500 because of maintenance on that thing and the GT500 is a lot more powerful and easier/cheaper to work on and upgrade if need be.

348? Eh, I would go for the GT500.

348s are probably the worst made Ferrari in modern times. Check out what the regular maintenance visits will cost you...

Get a 348 then put the GT500 motor in it..lol...j/k

It depends on what you want to do with the car. I dunno if you can mod the ferrari as much as the GT500, but I'll be choosing the GT500 for sure.

If you're talking track I'd say Ferrari, if you are just cruising all the time, GT500. Or Boss 302 for in-between?

I love Stangs as much as the next fanatic, however a Ferrari does not come in one's life often.. 348's are nice, isn't that what they had in Miami Vice (I always drooled over their cars..) Crocket n Tubs drove some smooth rides for undercover cops..

I'd rather have a Shelby.

I never really liked the looks of the Ferrari 348. I also agree with Warpig's post.

To me, the only "advantage" of owning the Ferrari is just being able to brag that you own a Ferrari. lol And there'd be a whole lot less on the road, so it would stick out more.

#firstworldproblems

but seriously, unless you're prepared for five digit maintenance, don't even think about a Fcar. They are absolutely amazing, and probably one of the best things you can own if you can afford it. But in reality, keeping up with a ferrari is not for the faint of heart.

Also, asking this question on a mustang forum will get you one answer. Go ask on 6speed for a little more balanced opinion.

Crocket and Tubs drove a Ferrari Testarosa for most of the episodes. Now that is a Ferrari I would take. Still expensive on maintenance, but worlds better than a 348!

Ya I've read about the up keep on them but I'd be all for doing that of I got it... And honestly I wouldn't mod the 500 for a while... Idk y but the 500 kinda scares me after I saw a guy lose control in a parking lot I was in trying to show off... But I'd mostly put mods on that would help car reliability... Redo the suspension and things like that... Not so much on the power upgrades
