Default 08 GT Exhaust System

Hi everyone, I've recently purchased a 2008 GT. The first thing I'm going to do is something with the exhaust. It's my daily driver, but i want it to be as loud as possible but stilll a deep sound. Any reccomendations would be greatly appreciated.

On the '07 GT Vert we had, I did a muffler delete at a small local shop when I was in Az. Had them install 4" diameter chrome tips that were 18" long. They did a custom pipe to attach to the original pipes where the mufflers attached. It was loud, deep, and could be heard at least 4 miles away when cruising. Cost was $80.

Don't get your hopes up for deep sound from a V6; it just ain't gonna happen.

Use the search feature and ask in the V6 section. Many of the forum members with V6's have a lot of good info which is already posted. Good luck to you.

SLP Loudmouths give a great sound IMO. Since i have them I have heard tho if you get an X-pipe it doesn't sound so well.

Pype Bombs (literally ONLY axle-back)

2006 Mustang GT WOT (outside)

2006 Mustang GT WOT (inside)

Not too bad for less than $300 ...simple install too and I've had NO complaints thusfar (year and a half later)
