I get to treck mine through deep snow ^-^

I actually enjoy having it as my DD...
there's nothing quite like an empty parking lot after a fresh snow..

Did that this morning

Mine is getting a whole new front end rebuild of the mechanicals and a new set of tires/rims this winter. It was nice working in the heated garage, it kept me out of trouble for the most part......
They use a lot of salt here, so I have to wait for a couple good rains to wash the roads before I let her loose.

Same in PA/NJ/NY area. This has been one of the mildest winters I can remember but the least little snow and they go nuts with the salt/sand. Right now the roads look white from salt.I guess they are missing out on alot of OT and trying to make it up. As much as I miss her I won't be bringing my car out till end of April.

Storage? No driving until May?

I have about 8 hours to wait until I drive it again - just parked it in the garage for "storage" for the night about an hour ago. I drive it year round, rain, snow, sleet, rain, or sun. 195,500 miles of enjoyment - I bought it to drive, not let it sit for half the year.

The only reason mine's May is because that's when I come home from school. Otherwise it won't be driven and it'll just sit. Might take it out early and just have my parents drive it from time to time, but it's nice saving on insurance for the time being. No way in heck that thing's coming to my school unless I drive it back that night.

Also, it sat for two weeks once and I already had seeds on my valve covers...I live in a very wooded area, so that's why I'm enjoying storing it with the mothballs.

Come a little further South and you'll be fine.
