So I have spent some time now going back and forth in my mind on whether or not I should do this. I keep saying to myself that I am done with mods but I know that Im pushing the stock block at 450. I think it would be nice to have the upgraded parts in the block to negate the worries. I was thinking of buying brenspeeds Stage 2 kit and then over the summer buying the rest of everything I would need and then by fall or winter moving forward with the build. I do believe the tranny's are good to about 500 so I would looking to be around the 480 mark. I do like to track the car buy my work schedule and mother nature have alot to do with that. So far I love the power im making now but sure would be nice to not worry. And maybe in the future upgrade the tranny!! My fiance would really be rolling her eyes right now if she saw this but mostly she is okay with what im doing.

And to be honest with myself I dont really worry I just think it would be cool to up the hp and more importantly the tq. So anyway I was just putting my thoughts out there.

 

I will be doing the same thing! Just spoke with Brenspeed this afternoon about setting up an install for 4.10s, Kooks LTs and Detroit Rockers for sometime in Late March/Early April! Down the road the B302 will be coming! Aren't you glad you're future wife is so understanding? lol

Depending on how much of my stolen money gets returned by uncle sam, i may be ordering a B302 very, very soon.

 

B302 engine and a beefed up tranny...............sounds awesome dude!!!

How much more power does that engine have over a normal ie stock motor?

 

None, but it can handle more.
