Default Redoing Interior - Pics

A few months ago a water leak caused some pretty bad water damage to my carpet and insulation. My husband cut out some of the carpet to get rid of some of the musty smell. So for the last month or so I have been driving around with my car being loud as hell.

Anyways, this prompted a pretty extensive re-haul of the interior. We ordered Second Skin Spectrum and Damplifer Pro, and Over Kill Pro for sound insulation. 2011 Leather Seat Skins, carpet, and Rockford rear speakers.

We started by taking the interior out

Then chipping off all the cracking Ford sound deadening, so the Spectrum would have a good surface to adhere to.

Then sanded down all the rough spots and wiped it down getting it ready to lay down the Spectrum.

That is where we left off tonight. The air compressor broke, so we will be rolling the Spectrum on with paint rollers.

That's insane..I'd never have the patience or skills to pull that off. I'm sure I'd mess it up somehow.

Looking forward too seeing how this turns out. If you plan to install seat heaters nows a good time to do that as well.

You're gonna have that great new car smell without having to get a new car.
