Default Problem...need help.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I just got my 2012 GT at the end of October and currently have 5,500 miles on it. There is a problem I've noticed lately. When the car is cold, it will hesitate for a second after switching gears or if I just give it gas. I'm not ******* it when it is old, I'm just talking about normal driving. I also notice a small sound when it hesitates. It's not loud, I'm the only one that notices it since I know how the car normally sounds. It almost sounds like a belt slipping but again it's barely there. When the car is warm it runs like a champ and this all goes away. I'm just assuming that there might be a problem with the transmission or clutch but wanted to see what you guys think. If it was that type of problem though, wouldn't it act up while warm too? This is where I got puzzled by this. Do they just run rough cold? I took a mechanic for a ride and he claimed he isn't notice anything (of course). I've driven manuals for years so I'm not just burning a clutch from not knowing what I'm doing. Oh and this is with traction turned off. What do you think? I appreciate the help.

Is that for only really cold temps? I live in Charlotte NC. It was acting up and it was 65 degrees out today.

Lots of people have had issues with the 11-12 MT82 tranny. Print TSB's and schedule appointment with your Ford dealer under warranty.

I have a feeling that if I print that out and take it to a dealership that they will still need to witness the problem. Or are they required to fix it if I show it to them?

Depends on the dealer. My local dealer does it if the customer wants, but other dealers can be a$$holes and dont do anything they dont have to unless they notice it. And sometimes theyll even cover it up by saying its normal.

Call your dealer and see what they say. Just let them know whats happening and just say you want to make an appointment to have the TSB done

Why would the one TSB about the clutch require replacing the brake pedal assembly?
