So you'd have 4 exhaust pipes???? That'd look retarded having pipes out the side and back
It's no different that a Boss 302 exhaust (as already mentioned). The pipes are tucked in tight and close to the front of the rear wheel. Unless you get on the ground (flat on your stomach)or get the car in the air and look, you'd never know they were there...

To bad that would not fly too well here in Missouri... Especially in the St. Louis Area... The safety/air inspectors have been flunking cars with "Altered Exhaust" or "Non-OEM-Specification Exhaust".

and NO.. Just because your exhaust on a standard GT came off of a Boss 302; does not make it OEM Specification.

I have always been a lover of side pipes.. especially Big ones.

Like the Hooker Header Side-pipes on my 69 Torino Cobra GT.

I do love the sound the system makes...my problem is that the price point IMO is too high. I currently run Borlas out back and that sounds good, this would make it sound better but $800 better? I can't justify it.

Yeah I was thinking it would be cheaper just to add electric cutouts

We have some real gruppy people around here lately. They do sound good but for the price I get me the full custom exhaust

so it does change the sonic signature (sound) of the exhaust butIi wonder how much HP was really lost as a result of adding the side exhaust...

Not worth the coin to me...plus I'm happy with my SLP LM's.

I remember a couple of guys back in the 70's that had those Hooker side pipes. One guy had them on a Challenger and other guy on a 67 Stang coupe. Looked good on them with the raked stance and monster rear tires.....sounded good too. Yeah, I'm old lol.
