No not really when you have a fox body mustang with a little mods done to it...and a mustang II drag car. The v6 is the best option for someone buying it as a daily driver...weekend car I have a choice of driving a 1972 mustang grande and a couple vettes. Don't have any regret.

No, I've lived too long driving the "basic" model. Non-Vtec Integra instead of GS-R, V6 F150 instead of V8, 4.6L Expedition instead of 5.4L, I6 Jeep Grand Cherokee instead of V8, HP Touchpad instead of Apple Ipad.

It was a GT or nothing, though a GT500 would be nice

I was thinking about a 2011 v6 before purchasing my 05 GT, the cost was not much more but in the end I wanted the sound of the v8!

I'm 30 and I've wanted a sports car since before i could drive. I've had a Civic SI and a Matrix XRS. Those motors are pretty much bullet proof and they were fun to drive. No i was not a ricer. No stickers, fart cans, etc. Just tinted windows and competition sound systems. But those cars were no muscle cars. I always told myself that if I ever bought a real sports car that it would have the biggest motor with manual tranmission that's available. And thats what i did. 5.0 with a mt82. Honestly I don't thinn i will ever own a sports car without it being the top model.

Edit

Forgot to add. It also had to be brand new. Will not buy a used car that is in the sporty class. You never know how tje car was driven before. And that could make some serious issues in the future. SI and XRS were brand new.
