Well I finally got the Shelby GT500 leather seats installed this morning. Don't eat me alive for this, but I didn't get many before pictures of the stock cloth seats and here's a quick rundown of why I didn't: I took a few pics of them with a camera, uploaded them to PC, transfered them to iPhone 3G, erased pics from camera and PC, dropped iPhone and broke it so its no longer working, and upgraded to iPhone 4S. Anyway, I snapped 2 before pics as my uncle was installing the seats. He started at 9:30 and finished at 11. He does not know how to install aftermarket heated seats, so he just placed the pads for me and I'll install them later. Enough of my babbling and on to the pics!

It's a night and day difference! Makes the interior a lot more beautiful and I just love the look and touch of leather seats. It only took 1 1/2 hours to get it done and it's worth it!

I will in the future. I was always debating whether I should do white stripes or silver stripes, and I was leaning more towards silver stripes. Now that I got these leathers, I'm gonna have to go with white .

 

Looks great! I wouldn't care about those Cobra decals, I can hardly see them to begin with. And they've got to feel 10x better than the cloth. Man, I wish I had leathers haha

Hot damn bro! Those look great! How did the skins fit against the seats? Did he have to add extra padding, or did they fit flush? I am REALLY diggin that look. Well done!

I can barely see those Cobra emblems myself, so that's saying a lot if they're on my seats lol. And more like 1,000,000x better than the cloth seats. And hey, I didn't even plan on getting leathers any time soon, but my uncle just gave them to me out of nowhere. You'll get some one day, I'm sure!

2011 take offs are much better than stock cloth. I'm sure yours looks great as well . My uncle does it for a living and he's done many in the past, which is why he got the job done so quick. White racing stripes will come one day, once I do every exterior mod I'm planning.

Thanks! They fit great. No extra padding is necessary, but he did add some to mine. When he removed the cloths, I was surprised to see how the pads were worn out. He replaced the back pads with the ones that came off the GT500, since they were in better shape, and also added extra padding to help protect them from normal wear and tear so they can last longer.
