Default Gt choices

Hello all, looking for a Mustang again.

2012 base model GT, kona blue, 6 speed $25K
2011 GT premium, 8K miles, black/red leather, 6 speed $28K
2009 GT premium CS, grey/two tone, 11k miles, 5 speed $23K

What would have the best resale value if I were to upgrade in a couple years?

My first mustang was a 1990 LX 5.0 (sleeper) and I am tempted to go for the base 2012 GT, tho the CS looks sweet.

I'd love a new CS and they have one in stock, but its too much money!

well right off the bat i would say to nix the 2009 simply on the motor. You absolutely will not regret going for the coyote 5.0.

Next i will say the Premium GT for the money is great, and all i have ever driven is GT premiums, i bought my 11' premium for 28k brand new, so you need to get them down on that 28k price.

Hope you get what you want!

Yeah, the '11 or 12 no doubt. btw, is that '12 a new one and if so can you really get one for around 25k?

I'd go for the '11, but only if you can get the price down a couple thousand. If you're considering spending 28k, you can get a new '12 for close to that amount. I saw a '12 premium that stickered for around $34500, advertised at $28500, that was with -3000 in rebates and -3000 in dealer discounts.

By the way my first car was also an '89 LX 5.0, oh the memories.....wish I'd kept it.

Yeah, base 2012, 3k rebate. The 11 is overpriced because there are no rebates.

Go drive the 2009 and then drive the 2011 or '12. The difference is night and day.

If you can get the price down a little get the 2011.
The black with Lava Red interior was a fairly rare combination so it may have a higher resale.

Anyone have any idea of the number of 2012 premiums still available? Not much showing up at lacal dealers or Ebay.
