Too high??? What kind of insurance are you quoting? My 2011 cost me $625 every 6 months, my 2008 $680 every six months, and my 5.0 an astounding $250, all have the same degree of full coverage....

The liability is the same on either a V6 or V8, it's the collision and comprehensive that varies, just set your deductable at $750 or $1000 and it'll save a nice chunk.

$2400 a year to drive a GT compared to $1200 a year to drive a truck?
How many tickets and/or DWIs do you have?
Bad credit rating?
I hope the amounts above include every type of insurance you could
possably have on your truck.

from 07-08 i drove a mazda truck daily, and the GT on the weekends.
the GT was less to insure bc it wasn't my DD.
under 1500 a year for both. i've been with the same insurance company for a long time.
and only a couple mild speeding tickets in the past 15 years or so.

geez I was 17 when I got my first GT and I only paid 170 a month. I currently pay about 120 but its working its way down because I bought a car in the middle of a 6 month period. I was paying 99 a month when I had my 05 gt.

I really don't see why people ask that question. If you can afford it and don't mind spending the money, get a GT. If you can't afford a GT, get a V6. It's as simple as that. Coming online and seeing people brag about how much better their GT is gets really old, really fast.
