Cosmetically does the extra .5 to 1 inch more of drop matter?...debatable for sure, imo not really on the 05-09. Now on the 10+, that's a different story altogether. But more drop does create excessive camber problems which require more suspension parts to compensate, not to mention the increased possibillity of bottoming out your car at some point
Better handling up front with more drop?...debatable, but really are you pushing your everyday driver that hard on the way to work to benefit...probable not. Track car again is a different story.
So from my standpoint with V being a daily driver on notorius roads, lower is not better...its just lower (waste).
I guess "waste" was a bad way of putting it..bad mayo!!!

Looks like frpp steeds and ebaich are all prety good. I plan to lower about 1.5 inches or so. May lean more towards frpp, as it's from ford racing itself. And like the title says, I'll be doing springs, not coilovers (maybe one day)
I don't want to sacrifice ride too much, I just want less roll in the turns. When I carry passengers it's like seeing them being shaken around by a motion simulator ;-)

Another vote here for the FRPP springs! They give the car a good looking rake.

You want sway bars.

Pony pkg already has sway bars, I believe the front one is slightly smaller than the GT model however. They do the job well enough imo.

I too would rather do springs, I hate the 4X4 look and the nose dive when braking gets old quick.

I have these UPR Pro Series springs on my car: http://www.uprproducts.com/mustang-e...prings-05.html

They are made for us by Eibach, and they spec out the same as Eibach Pro Kit springs. Eibach also does the same deal for FRPP M-2300-K springs. Altogether, The Eibach Pro springs are probably the most commonly used lowering springs on the market. Rightfully so, they corner well and have a decent ride quality.

eibach sportlines....make it impractical! i haven't regretted it in 4 years of having them plus it handles like a go cart =)

I have been wanting to do handling mods, but I dont want to sacrifice ride heigth. I like the idea of hitting small animals instead of trying to avoid them.

Loaded, that is a killer stance.

I've got the eibach pro springs with tokico HP series dampers. Maybe doesn't handle like a go-kart, but man has it increased my confidence in the corners and just feels faster because you can actually feel the road (but it's not too harsh).

Before and after pics:
