My wife and I are D.I.N.K.s (Dual Income, No Kids) but my sister-in-law and her husband have two beautiful baby girls.
I assured the in-laws that their children would be safe and stylish in matching recaro car seats when we look after them.
My brother in-law had to go the MV route but now a big highlight of family functions is letting him take my 'stang for a spin.
He really appreciates it, and watching him light up is almost as fun as driving it myself.

An SUV is a minivan that gets crappy gas mileage. Seriously though, I don't get people who think that a car actually says something about its owner. It doesn't. Babies are expensive and gas prices are high. If a minivan makes the most sense, get a minivan. Hell, my daily is a prius. I could give a crap less what the next guy thinks of what I drive while I'm racking up 56 mpg.
