Personally I welcome a good change. I want the mustang heritage to be there but I'm excited for something new and refreshing. Euro performance, fit, and finish at american prices please and thank you.

Is Ford paying attention to Camaro loyalist? I think if Ford "tones down" the Mustang and it has a European look like the Fusion, they may loose some customers over to the Bow-tie brand or other current Muscle car companies. It's hard to imagine that after 50+ years, Muscle cars are going the way of the Dinosaur.

Keep the Mustang uniquely American like it should be.

I don't want any of that euro trash.

Keep my v8's big and my cars looking nothing like something out of the &*%^&%^#$%#%@%%@#$%^$#^% EU.

When they say "may look like a ford fusion" that's freightening.

Ford started Fresh with the Retro S197. 2013 is 3rd Gen of the S197. 2015 will be 4th Generation. Wasn't the Mustang II also considered 4th Generation? History repeats itself.

Aside from the classic mustangs and the s197s none of them have had a muscle look. I love the retro look to the s197s but its pretty obvious that they cant keep the retro styling forever. The body style before the s197 doesnt scream american muscle to me but its not bad looking. A "euro" look might not be bad, it just depends on how it looks really.

Rumor has it the new Mustang will look a lot like the Evos concept car. If that's the case I'm REALLY happy to have the last of the real Mustangs because I'd never buy a car that looks like that. And apparently according to the statistics the Mustang is for 'old people'? (51 average)

I guess I'll be old then.

Well, according to Ford, stating a while back, the new gen Mustang coming up will excite everyone. It's not suppose to look european. It's not going to look all retro either, which got tired looking by '09. But, it's suppose to have retro touches in a modern design. So, no one really knows yet anyway. There will be more articles coming down the pike, as there have been since last year, with more BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. We just have to wait.

The classic Mustangs (pre 1974) and the S197 Mustangs are the only Mustangs that get a second glance from me. I know this won't be a popular thing to say on a Mustang forum but I don't like every Mustang. There are more years that I dislike the Mustang (74 - 04) then actually look at one and say "I'd buy that." My curiousity of the next generation is still strong, but I have a sneaky suspicion that I won't like it. When I think of a Mustang I have a certain picture in my head of what it should look like and euro isn't how I would describe it.
