Default Rear View Mirror

For some reason my rear view mirror always seems to rattle when i have the radio on. It sounds like there are some loose wires hitting the glass part inside... I do have the back up camera inside the mirror so it seems like that would be the problem. It started when i got my sub woofers but even when they are off it still does it so maybe the subs loosened the wires?

Does anyone else have this problem? how can i open up the mirror and see whats going on?

Dang, give it some time...someone might know how to help.

Tinker around with it to see if you can find the exact source. Rattles are hard to eliminate. Or turn down the dubstep...

If you google how to open the mirror you will find a thread with step by step directions. I forgot which forum it was on. From what I have read there is a screw behind the mirror that needs tightening.

I just took my 2010 in to get the oil changed and I asked them if they could pop the mirror off and tighten that baby up because I have the same problem.

They did it but it didn't get rid of the rattle completely so they just ordered me a new mirror free since I am still under warranty.

Deadmau5 FTW

Oh yeah, mine did this a couple weeks ago and it was really irritating. I didnt notice it last night (been almost 11 days since I drove it) but if it comes back I'm taking it in and having them replace that mirror under warranty.

I did take it in, and the douche that I took it to kept my car for 2 days and gave it back and said "Nothing is wrong, just dont turn your music up" which i basically took as..." Dont turn your radio on, cuz im an idiot and didnt even look at your car over those 2 days"
